Shine are now settling into their fourth successive year on the UK classics scene while proudly announcing 2015's forthcoming Easter Special presentation, scheduled Saturday 4th April at the cities No 1 club venue, The Warehouse on Somers Street in Leeds situated near the main train station. Heading the bill will be US house legend, New York producer, DJ Todd Terry flying in from the States, ensuring Shine's Easter weekend goes down as a memorable Bank Holiday occasion.
The Todd Terry Project originated during the mid eighties acid house movement, with his own sound evolving on the US circuit. Since then he's worked with many in the business, such collaborations started with 'Lil Louie' Vega on a Masters At Work debut 'Alright Alright.' From strength to strength throughout the decades, Todd always sustained house music creativity, classic examples of inspirational tracks reigning his magic, include early productions of dance-floor monsters 'Weekend' & 'Bango' while other projects were driven as Orange Lemon's 'Dreams Of Santana' plus 'Can You Party' & 'A Better Way' by Royal House.
The global heavyweight & recognised house pioneer is often referred to, along with his friend, fellow New Yorker Frankie Knuckles, as a founding God Father of house and alike FK, Todd Terry is found on material in many respected vinyl boxes owned by DJ's flying at top level's worldwide. Classic record labels Sleeping Bag & Strictly Rhythm rarities where he's credited, probably sit amongst more TT records including nineties releases UK Top 10 chart hit's 'Keep On Jumpin' & 'Something Going On' but the highly commendable Shannon 'It's Over Love' house club mix which he turned his hand to, replicates exactly just what unique style capability & talent standard he actually holds, it's set in a class of it's own.

Easter's line up warmly welcomes the return back to The Warehouse in the main room CJ Mackintosh & Allister Whitehead who'll be joined by Tom Wainwright an Hacienda legend alongside Shine regular DJ, the talented & a Leeds original Marshall. So expect at this event, another spectacular show where the roof come's off while DJ's & everyone else, are making the most of their bank holiday weekend.
The fantastic residents as per usual take to proceedings upstairs in The Loft playing an array of unmissable vocal house, where selected records spin a found sound which was over time carefully nurtured, establishing at Shine that all important niche. The resident DJ's presented with this task are Paul Murray, Mark Holliday & Garry Dabill, who every time without fail bring to the table their required style, pulling off top quality underground mixes, showcasing Shine the way it should be.
